If you are currently experiencing an emergency and require emergency services (police, ambulance, firefighters), please dial 911.

If you are a U.S. citizen with an emergency during business hours, please call the Embassy Operator:

If you are a U.S. citizen with an after-hours emergency, please call our hotline:

• 1770-2311 (Inside Uruguay)
• (+598-2)  1770-2311 (Outside Uruguay)
