On Christmas Eve, the Marine Security Detachment
in Montevideo joined Marines around the world to play Santa
Claus to underprivileged children.
The Marines collected 100 gifts –
toys, games, arts and crafts supplies – from the U.S.
Embassy community. The Office of Defense Cooperation and
the Community Liaison Office at the U.S. Embassy, Montevideo,
also supported this effort.
