Boy Scouts Troop 908 Paid Tribute To Fallen U.S. Service Personnel

Youngsters honor those who served the cause of freedom

Posted: November 11, 2005 Related material: Lest We Forget

Boy Scouts of Troop 908 observed Veterans Day rendering tribute to fallen U.S. service personnel buried in Montevideo's British Cemetery. The boys worked for several hours after school on Thursday, November 10, tidying up gravesites and replacing with new ones all the American flags marking them.

After the work was done, USAF Col Maria Cordero led the boys into prayer and called upon them to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served the cause of freedom.
