A reception to thank benefactors and corporate sponsors of the Alianza Binational Center (BNC) in Montevideo was held November 3 at the Four Points Sheraton.

As an active sponsor of the center's cultural activities, the U.S. Embassy Montevideo was invited to participate in the event, represented by Chargé D'Affaires James Nealon and A/Deputy Chief of Mission Linda Gonzalez. The reception included a mini performance by cast members of the center's current production of the American musical "Sugar".
