Dr. Sharon T. Freeman, Director of the Washington, DC Government's International Business Development Office at the DC Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the DC Chamber's International Committee, was in Fray Bentos last Friday to address a large group of regional entrepreneurs on the subject of "Exporting to the United States". This latest conference was part of a series of talks Dr. Freeman has been conducting in Uruguay pertaining to micro and small enterprise (MSE) development and entrepreneurship among women.

Dr. Freeman was received in Fray Bentos by Rio Negro's Mayor, Arq. Francisco Centurión, who assisted the conference and pledged his support for MSE development in the region.
