A large Mototrailla earth moving machine donated to Uruguay by the people of the United States was presented yesterday by U.S. Ambassador Martin J. Silverstein to the Secretary of the Presidency Dr. Raul Lago.

The equipment arrived from the United States a few weeks ago as part of an aid package aimed at assiting the uruguayan national emergency program (Sistema Nacional de Emergencia).

Also present during the ceremony were Ing. Juan Echeverz from the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works (MTOP), and Col. Domingo Montaldo for the national emergency program.

 

Ambassador Silverstein is received by Col. Domingo Montaldo, Dr. Raul Lago and Ing. Juan Echeverz.
