Ambassador Martin J. Silverstein met
with over forty young Uruguayans, most of whom were university
students in a free-flowing question and answer session that
ran over an hour an a half. The site of the meeting was
Hillel Uruguay, a youth center in Montevideo. The questions
were varied and ranged from what it’s like to be an
ambassador to the difficulties in the Middle East. The session
was frank, open and cordial, and the audience responded
enthusiastically to Ambassador Silverstein’s comments.
