During his two-day schedule
in Montevideo, Holliday met with Ambassador Martin J. Silverstein,
other U.S. Embassy officials and Uruguayan interlocutors
to discuss multilateral issues, U.S. policies in Latin America,
and issues specific to Uruguay. He spoke with local journalists,
visited Immersion School No. 35 and the Alianza Uruguay-Estados
Unidos, and met with the board of directors of the Fulbright
Commission and representatives of the American Council of
Young Political Leaders (A.C.Y.P.L.).
