• If it is a medical case you should present proofs from the doctor in Uruguay (diagnostic), also proof of the Hospital you will be attending in the United States. You also need to present proof of how you will cover the expenses of your treatment, if your insurance will be paying please present a letter, in which includes your bank summary, verifying the amount of money you have etc.

Keep in mind that just because you have a medical emergency appointment it is not a guarantee that you will be issued a visa. Each applicant needs to meet the requirements according to the Immigration and Nationality laws of the United States.
