Section in Montevideo, Uruguay. Immigrating to the United States
to live permanently may be an important and complex decision to
make. These pages provide you with information to help foreign
citizens desiring to permanently immigrate, to determine the visas
requirements and related materials they will need to apply to
immigrate to the United States. For information on who can immigrate

before a visa can be issued to the relative s/he is sponsoring.
This generally means that the petitioner must be living in the

to have a domicile while temporarily living overseas. Domicile:
is the place where a person has his or her principal residence.
The person must intend to keep that residence for the foreseeable
future.
