Join us for a gripping and frank discussion in Spanish on
American politics and the impact of President Obama’s
foreign policy in Latin America. The conversation will center
on Barack Obama, detailing his rise to power, first as a candidate
in a crowded field of potent challengers, including Hillary
Clinton, and then later his challenges in transitioning to
power and governing after eight years of President Bush. Special
attention will be given to changes in American society, the
relationships of minority groups to the first African-American
president, and future Obama administration policies toward
Latin America. Any and all questions are welcome.
