Professor Dario Beloqui from the Catholic University and Professor Juan Carlos Boyadji from the Teacher Training Center (IPA) with Cultural Affairs Specialist Nahir Lois and Educational Assistant Veronica Perez-Urioste. Both professors recently participated in the E-Teacher program during ten weeks. Prof. Beloqui took the English for Business course through the University of South Carolina and Prof. Boyadji took the Teaching Critical Thinking course through the University of Oregon. The E-Teacher Scholarship Program offers five innovative, on-line, graduate level classes to English teaching professionals abroad through six different U.S. universities. The courses introduce the most recent English language teaching methods and techniques, offer the opportunity to engage in an innovative distance-learning program that employs the latest in modern technology, and provide direct access to U.S. experts with whom participants might not normally have the opportunity to interact. All participants are nominated through U.S. embassies.
