Big Macs For A Good Cause

McDonald's restaurants across Uruguay raise money for the Children's Hospital oncology ward

U.S. Ambassador Frank E. Baxter and embassy Press specialist Rubek Orlando volunteered to help McDonald's staff as they prepare to greet customers on McHappy Day event, November 16, 2007. The "McDia Feliz" in Uruguay is a special event where proceeds from all Big Mac hamburger sales across the country are donated by McDonald's to the Peluffo-Giguens Foundation, an organization for the fight against cancer in children.
